What is InkRoot?

The name InkRoot is inspired by the tattoos worn by sailors—symbols etched into skin to mark the long and dangerous journeys they survived across vast, unpredictable waters. These tattoos weren’t just decoration; they were stories, carried proudly. A record of where they had been, what they endured, and who they became along the way.

I believe therapy works in a similar way.

Each of us is shaped by the experiences we’ve lived through—both the beautiful and the painful. Our stories, much like those sailor tattoos, are lasting, meaningful, and deserve to be seen. At InkRoot Therapy, I offer a space where you can explore those stories with care and curiosity. Together, we’ll honor where you’ve been and discover how your roots—your resilience, your identity, your values—can support you as you move forward.
