Frequently asked questions
Therapy feels overwhelming to me, how do I start?
Starting is simple. Schedule a free 15-minute consultation call to see if we’re a good fit. You can book this through This Link, ask questions through my Contact Page, or email me directly at garret@inkroottherapy.com . We’ll talk briefly about your goals and how therapy might support you.
How often do we meet?
While this is based on your preference, I typically meet with clients weekly, or every other week. I have flexible scheduling options in case you can not meet consistently.
How long are sessions?
All sessions start at one hour, and can be extended in 30 minute increments.

Yes, I meet with Individuals using their insurance benefits.

Additionally, I can provide you with a superbill to submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement if your provider is out of network. I also accept HSA/FSA cards.
What are your fees, and do you offer a sliding scale?
My standard rate for individual therapy is $175 per session and $200 for Couples and Family Therapy. I also reserve some slots for sliding scale and pro bono clients to increase access to care. If cost is a concern, let me know during the consultation—we’ll work together to explore options.
